Juliet PIPER 

The photographer lives and works in Bristol UK. The September solo show reveals the artist's multiple universe. 

Juliet photographs contemplation no matter what is in front of her lens. She photographs the suspension. A playful form of photography. Dynamic. Fantasy at times. She offers conciliation to the spectators.

We have worked together for over a decade. Juliet PIPER meticulously prepares every detail of her work. Each idea is methodically developed or quickly abandoned. The result always reveals an acute sense of lightness finely mixed with drama. 

The artist is fantastic, the friend is loyal. Born in Bern, she grew up in Geneva before settling in Paris and then Bristol. Like many artists, she was nourished by the discovery of other cities. She notably carried out photographic work on the city of Beirut that I would very much like to have the chance to present soon. 

The exhibition will be concentrated as usual, over one evening. However, those who cannot attend the opening can register for a private visit by writing to us.
