The “Bodies and Souls” sculpture series papier-mâché embodies feminine confidence and excess, transcending cultural boundaries. Masks question our beliefs and open up a deep reflection on life, death and our common existence.

“The Observer”
This captivating sculpture depicts an enigmatic female figure, presenting an observing tube face, transcending its purely aesthetic role. As Marcel Duchamp pointed out, “it is the spectator who makes the painting”, and this work is a living example. The gaze of this spectator, imbued with objectivity and analysis, explores beyond the tangible, capturing the deep essence of contemplation. Through this piece, the artist plumbs the abysses of observation, inviting the viewer to dive into thoughtful introspection. The tube face metamorphoses into a passage through which the sculpture reaches heights of visual introspection, encouraging a careful analysis of the self and the world around us.
