The painting depicts two human figures standing face to face, engaged in a game of strategy and domination. Each of the characters holds a stick horse in their hand, diverted here to represent the pawns in a complex confrontational game of the struggle for the occupation of territory, where each movement is calculated and each advance strategically planned. The framework evokes the rules of the game to which participants must comply, the limits and boundaries that must not be crossed. The oval and orange boards under the silhouettes' feet are the zones of control and influence, where each player seeks to extend their influence.
