"Nature is a "great whole" driven by common energies. We find the same colors, curves, streaks, veins, dots, stripes, in animals, plants or minerals. Nature is thus a great game of camouflage. The insects that I make with shells, twigs, leaves, petals, seeds or grasses, can confuse the distracted viewer. The objective is not to reproduce real invertebrates identically, these small plant insects are imaginary animals.
