“Cosmogony” invites the viewer to explore the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, between the tangible and the spiritual. This captivating work presents itself as an open door to a mystical world, where the woman in trance becomes the link between palpable reality and the mysteries of voodoo cosmogony.
In the foreground, a woman in a trance emerges from a sacred ceremony. She appears within a lush, tropical forest, pictorially suggested, where spirits probably dance among the leaves and roots.

The woman in trance embodies the power of voodoo ritual, merging her being with the surrounding nature. Between ecstasy and communion, the canvas invites us to a dance, a deep and transcendental spiritual journey.
