The “50° Celsius” series offered by Stéphane GARNAVAULT has already won awards in several international competitions. It accompanies the viewer in a timeless vision.

By capturing and processing his images, the artist manages to transmit to me a multitude of sensations, between walks and memories almost always to be discovered. I know that the images were taken during the heatwave of 2022. Yet the suffocation is sweet. A sort of anesthesia seizes the viewer.

Unlike his “Flower Portrait” series which dominated black and white and macro, here color dominates the wide angle and the sensation of weightlessness.

I already said it during his previous exhibition, Stéphane Garnavault's work has a complete dramatic range.

Simon EDELSTEIN offers the story of abandoned cinemas around the world. This exhibition on the occasion of the release of his new book “Cinémas, un patrimoine français” published by Editions Jonglez and prefaced by Jack Lang, highlights a selection of images that we will present in the form of a wall installation .

The admirable work of cinema lover, cinephile and director Simon Edelstein plunges me into a quest. That of unknown alleys and empty sharing spaces, waiting for renewal. With his previous book “The Twilight of Cinemas” the photographer testified to long adventures across the globe over fifteen years. Here it is French cinemas that he pushes for expression. A monumental work for me which questions both the relationship with others and the evolution of buildings in cities.

We are delighted to welcome you to this collective exhibition.
