MEMORIUM

Spafford Father & SonI didn't have the honor of meeting the father but the chance to meet the son, yes.

Tyler Wilson Spafford, a Canadian-born photographer, left behind countless negatives. Carefully stored and in perfect condition. The discovery of these images plunged us into a particular universe of the seventies, from the United States to Provence. We are preparing an interactive exhibition for you, an almost journey through time. It was ten years ago. Ellwood-Léo occupied the “Halle 52” space in the cultural site that was Artamis at the time. A place strong in character, where the emulsion of genre and synergy has given birth to numerous artists.

Léo was preparing to enter an art school there. He was walking around with a backpack full of bombs and painting. He still paints. Coming mainly from the Graffiti movement and strongly influenced by Hip-Hop, he adapts his works to their creative medium as often as possible. On this occasion, he will present paintings offering a visual universe in which we will escape into the depth of impeccably smoothed gradients.

Chloé PeytermannHow can we not remember Chloé and her extraordinary creation? Of his drawings and his ceramics? We had the honor of exhibiting some of his works in May 2013 and it is with enthusiasm that we will relive the experience at the end of the year.

Anne Berger (L’après Midi Nomade)Anne presents the “Roaring Twenties in Kyoto” to you through her textile beauties. She will do us the honor of presenting splendid gouaches and some treasures from her Japanese collection.

“Linked” Performance // LIVING SCULPTURE

The exhibition is partly placed under the sign of Japan, by the collection of gouache and kimono by Anne Berger and by the intervention of the shibari master from Lausanne, Michael Ronsky and his model Anne.

The opening of the exhibition begins at 18:00 p.m. and the performance at 20:00 p.m. It will last 30 minutes.

“Shibari is an artistic and spiritual practice where the man and the model communicate, whether it is a century-old tree or a woman's body.” Kinoko Hajime
