ELLWOOD LEO SPAFFORD

Léo is an artist in keeping with his times, coming from graffiti he develops mainly in the street art movement. 

It was ten years ago. Ellwood-Léo occupied the “Halle 52” space in the cultural site that was Artamis at the time. A place strong in character, where the emulsion of genre and synergy has given birth to numerous artists.

Léo was preparing to enter an art school there. He was walking around with a backpack full of bombs and painting. He still paints.

Coming mainly from the Graffiti movement and strongly influenced by Hip-Hop, he adapts his works to their creative medium as often as possible. On this occasion, he will present paintings offering a visual universe in which we will escape into the depth of impeccably smoothed gradients.

Our first adventure will be the exhibition in November 2013 at the CREA exhibition space, Carouge Geneva.
