It will take place in the Old Town of Geneva at the “ EXHIBITION SPACE PORTE DE LA TREILLE ". At 4. Rue Henri-Fazy 1204.
The “COLLECTIVE ARTWORK II” exhibition brings together five contemporary artists:

“Abstraction under glass”
This hanging constitutes the culmination of work undertaken in 2012. The artist expresses himself in series. He explored wood, stone, metal, chalk and paper; Periods of research in which he immerses himself for a period of time, before changing medium.
This work emerges from the support and finds its place on the glass. It pushes aside the frame and imposes movement. Suspended in space, the pieces are anchored by their reflection in the wall on the one hand, and in the eye on the other.
This research focused on the integration of the work in space. Through reflection, that of the viewer and the environment, the work tends towards homogeneity in a setting, while expressing a strong identity.
Aldo likes to draw attention to the method that, according to him, “makes the piece.” As many universes are presented as there are works.
The artist chooses to explore this medium and expresses himself through glass, a hard and brittle object, bright color and an abstract form often on the edge of repetition and regularity. He manages to offer a soothing journey, from Lisbon to Istanbul, his favorite cities.
We therefore decided to exhibit, alongside recent work, the “holey papers”. Reliefs rather than colors. Intervention in the subject rather than support.

“Leadership and the Bible”
“I read somewhere that the same kind of frog lived on both sides of a desert. Well, isolated by arid nature in such a way that one wondered how this became possible. » L. Straschnov
The artist is preparing three pieces for the exhibition. This series is a reference to the principles of mass and leadership. If the leader is not part of the mass, what can his status and legitimacy be?
Also, movement and suspension are omnipresent in the artist's work.
I witnessed the birth of the toad tornado. Beyond the biblical reference of the work, my imagination focuses on these little beasts which circle in the air, caught in the tornado, condemned to the exodus and which cross the deserts to fall into new swamps and live again.
Loredane Straschnov has a force of vigorous and playful proposals.
*Frog rain is one of the ten plagues of Egypt.

“Supernatural & Psychotropical”
Recent works. The artist blends into his studio, he becomes one with each of his pieces, whether they are on the wall, stored, packaged or abroad. He is the link between his various universes.
I feel the artist's attachment to his own trace and to the memory of his work. His memoirs, his first workbench and the furniture that fills his workshop enliven the place, so perceptible is the experience.
Lacquer. Between the calming of the mind and the sensation of the psychotropic drug, the risk of unknown vegetation and the attraction that emanates from the work, I find myself tempted.

“Against still life”
He presents a work combining the hardness of the element with the softness of the illusion. The curve in his work makes the density of his ceramic sculpture permeable.
These pieces are suggestions which, faithful to the contemporary art context from which they emanate, leave to the imagination free interpretation in the universe of their creator.
Hollow, his works carry the resonance of ambiguous forms which lie somewhere between the astral vision of meteorites and the contemporary vision of plasticized plants.
We could talk about the tension created between the smooth and hard texture, the dialogue of the pieces with each other. But let us let ourselves be carried away by the subtlety of this work and touched by its joyful dimension.
