He is a visual artist. his plays are – let’s coin the term – scriptwriting. whether we focus on his pictorial, photographic works or his installations, we almost always notice his need to combine different practices and materials. He easily manages to find a captivating homogeneity. 

 

His cinematic approach finds its legitimacy when we learn that it actually comes to us from the world of cinema. He was able to surprise many of us when, at the age of twenty-four, he completed his first feature film. With success. 

Perseverance remains one of the main themes of his work if not of his character. 

 

 

Barthélemy will prepare the Geneva autumn exhibition in his Parisian workshop during the summer. 

 

We will visit him to give you a taste.
